Flowmynd

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 1, 2026  ·  Last Updated: May 1, 2026

Pearlcity LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Flowmynd mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

Flowmynd is an AI-powered productivity and focus tool designed for adults with ADHD. The App provides energy-based task suggestions, AI task decomposition, focus session timers, body-doubling ambient mode, a no-shame consistency tracker, and weekly pattern reports.

Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the App.

Privacy at a Glance. Flowmynd is designed with a privacy-first approach. All of your tasks, focus sessions, daily check-ins, weekly reports, and personal preferences are stored exclusively on your device using Apple’s on-device storage (SwiftData). We do not maintain user accounts, collect email addresses, or store your data on any cloud server. The only data that leaves your device is when you explicitly use one of the three AI-powered features — at that point, the relevant text and session data are sent to Google’s Gemini AI service (via the Firebase AI Logic SDK) to generate a response.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

We collect information that you voluntarily provide when using the App:

1.2 Information We Do NOT Collect

Flowmynd does not collect or store:

2. How Your Data Is Stored

On-Device Only. All of your personal data — tasks, focus sessions, daily check-ins, weekly reports, and preferences — is stored exclusively on your iPhone or iPad using Apple’s SwiftData framework. We do not operate any cloud database or server that stores your personal information. If you delete the App, all locally stored data is permanently removed.

3. AI Service and Data Sharing

Important: AI Data Processing Disclosure. Flowmynd uses Google’s Gemini AI to power three optional features: AI Task Decomposition, Weekly Pattern Reports, and Compassionate Check-Ins. This section explains exactly what data is shared, with whom, and how you can control it.

3.1 The Three AI-Powered Features

Feature When data is sent What is sent
AI Task Decomposition When you tap “Break it down” on a task The task description you typed, plus your currently selected energy level
Weekly Pattern Report When you tap “Generate this week’s report” on the Progress tab A summary of your last 7 days: focus session times, durations, energy levels, and daily check-in entries (energy, “showed up” status, and any “what got in the way” notes you wrote)
Compassionate Check-In When you log a “didn’t show up” day or open the App after missing a day Your “what got in the way” text plus your recent energy levels (last 7 days, abbreviated)

3.2 What Is NEVER Sent

Even when you use an AI feature, the following is NEVER sent to any external service:

3.3 How Google Processes Your Data

Your data is processed by Google’s Gemini AI to generate the requested response. Google processes this data according to:

Per Google’s Gemini API terms, data sent through the paid API tier is not used to train Google’s AI models.

3.4 Simply Using the App Does NOT Send Data

Logging your energy, starting a focus timer, marking a step complete, viewing your 21-day consistency grid, or browsing past tasks do NOT send any data to any external service. Every non-AI feature works fully offline on your device.

3.5 Other Third-Party Services

Service Purpose Data Shared
Google Gemini AI (via Firebase AI Logic SDK) Power the three AI features above Only the data described in section 3.1
Firebase Remote Config Manage which Gemini model the App uses No personal data
Firebase App Check Verify authentic app requests Device attestation token (no personal data)
Apple StoreKit 2 Subscription management Handled entirely by Apple

4. Your Consent and How to Revoke It

4.1 In-App Consent Screen

Before any data is sent to Google’s Gemini AI service, the App presents a clear consent screen on first launch (between onboarding and the main app) that explains:

You must explicitly accept this consent before any AI features are activated. If you decline, the App continues to function — every non-AI feature still works.

4.2 How to Revoke Consent

You can revoke your AI data consent at any time:

  1. Open Flowmynd
  2. Go to Settings in the sidebar (or tab bar on iPhone)
  3. Toggle off Allow AI features

When you revoke consent, no further data will be sent to any AI service. Previously generated AI responses remain stored locally on your device.

5. Data Security

6. Data Retention

7. Subscriptions

Flowmynd offers an optional subscription, Flowmynd Pro, that unlocks unlimited use of the three AI features. Subscription billing is handled entirely by Apple via StoreKit 2. We do not receive your payment details. We only receive an anonymous transaction receipt that confirms whether you have an active subscription.

You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime via iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

8. Your Privacy Rights

California (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt-out of sale. We do not sell your data and we do not maintain personal information on any server, so most of these rights are exercised automatically by uninstalling the App.

European Economic Area (GDPR)

EEA residents have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and port their data. Since all data is stored on your device, you can exercise these rights directly through the App by editing or deleting individual entries, or by uninstalling the App entirely.

9. Children’s Privacy

Flowmynd is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the App in a way that we should know about, please contact us at appfactory1970@gmail.com.

10. Important Disclaimer — Productivity Tool, Not Medical Advice

Flowmynd is a productivity and focus tool. It is NOT a medical device, NOT a substitute for professional ADHD assessment or treatment, and does NOT provide medical, psychological, or clinical advice.

Use of Flowmynd does not establish a clinician-patient relationship. The App’s design is informed by general productivity research, not personalized clinical guidance. If you are seeking diagnosis or treatment for ADHD or any other condition, please consult a licensed healthcare professional.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988, or contact emergency services (911).

11. We Do NOT Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or task data to third parties for any purpose whatsoever.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you by updating the “Effective Date” at the top of this policy. Your continued use of the App indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
