ResumeTailor Pro ("we," "our," or "us"), developed by Pearlcity LLC, respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use the ResumeTailor Pro application.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Resume Content: Your resume text, job descriptions, and cover letters are stored locally on your device. We do not store your documents on our servers.
• Profile Information: Your name, email, phone, and other contact details you enter for resume building are stored locally on your device.
• AI Interactions: When you use AI-assisted features (resume analysis, cover letter generation), your text is sent to Google's Gemini API for processing through our secure proxy. We do not retain copies of these interactions.

Automatically Collected Information

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for compatibility and troubleshooting.
• Usage Analytics: Anonymous usage patterns such as feature usage frequency to improve the app experience.
• Purchase Data: Subscription status is managed through Apple's StoreKit framework. We do not process or store payment information directly.

3. Third-Party Services

Google Gemini API

When you use AI features (resume analysis, tailored resume generation, cover letter generation), your resume text and job descriptions are sent to Google's Gemini API through our secure Cloudflare Worker proxy. Google processes this data according to their Privacy Policy.

Apple StoreKit

Subscription purchases and management are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit 2. Payment processing is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Storage & Security

• All resume content, cover letters, and profile information are stored locally on your device.
• AI requests are transmitted securely through our Cloudflare Worker proxy (HTTPS encrypted).
• We do not operate servers that store your personal resume data.
• API keys are stored securely on our server infrastructure, never on your device.

5. Data Retention

Your resume content and history remain on your device until you delete them. If you uninstall ResumeTailor Pro, all locally stored data is removed. Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 12 months.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Delete your locally stored data at any time within the app or by uninstalling
• Export your data (resume history can be exported as JSON from Settings)
• Request information about what data we have associated with your usage

7. Children's Privacy

ResumeTailor Pro is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
