How does the AI resume analysis work?
Paste your resume and the job description, then tap "Analyze." Our AI compares your experience against the job requirements and provides a score, strengths, weaknesses, gap analysis, and a fully tailored version of your resume optimized for that specific role.
How do I generate a cover letter?
After running an analysis, switch to the "Cover Letter" tab. Enter the company name and optionally the hiring manager's name, then tap "Generate Cover Letter." The AI creates a professional, personalized cover letter that maps your experience to the job requirements.
How many free analyses do I get?
Free users get 3 AI analyses (including cover letters). Upgrade to ResumeTailor Pro for 1,000 analyses per month with priority processing.
How do I export my resume as PDF?
After an analysis, go to the "Tailored Resume" tab and tap "Build & Export Resume." Choose from three professional templates (Classic, Modern, Minimal), pick an accent color, and export as a polished PDF ready to send to employers.
Can I import my existing resume?
Yes! Tap the document icon in the resume input field to import from PDF, text files, or images. For images, we use optical character recognition (OCR) to extract the text automatically.
How do I manage my subscription?
Go to your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions to view, change, or cancel your ResumeTailor Pro subscription. You can also restore purchases from the Settings tab within the app.
I purchased Pro but it's not showing up
Go to Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases. This will sync your subscription status with Apple. If the issue persists, contact us below.
Where is my data stored?
All your resumes, cover letters, analysis history, and profile information are stored locally on your device. We do not upload or store your documents on any server. When you use AI features, your text is sent securely for processing but is not retained.
